Relaxing with some Patch the Pirate

All in a day's work

No place to hide. . .

Sara and Silas always love playing hide-and-go-seek with Matt. . .the down side to this is that we live in a 1,000 sq. ft., 2 bedroom apartment, which doesn't provide very many good hiding spots. Matt is pretty clever when it comes to finding new spots, but the game is not too much fun for him anymore, b/c he really has exhausted most, if not ALL of his options. So, here he is, tucked snuggly away underneath a shelf in one half of our hall closet. It took the kids forever to find him!

Just when we thought it was safe. . . .

A week after Silas, almost to the hour, Sara came down with the stomach flu.
(note--I am still trying to catch up my blog so these posts are old--this was New Years)

These pictures say it all. . . .

Silas is my daily challenge. . .he is ALL boy and doesn't stop until nap or bed, and those two things just fuel him for later. He has been described by many as busy, impulsive, strong-willed, etc. . .he is full of life-sometimes to a fault, and these pictures capture him perfectly!! We are hoping boy #2 is a little more mellow.

I just loved this face. . .

Although I will put my plug in for "Little Einsteins." They are GREAT! This is a C.D. Silas got and my kids love it--they hear classical music, go on "missions" to different parts of the world and learn different musical terms and ideas while they listen. I highly recommend them.

Christmas with the Stuckeys

Forget the toys. . .

Silas found great satisfaction in his brand-new bed sheets and his clip-on tie!
