Little Friends

We went on vacation this year for the first time since 2006. It was a BUSY trip as we were in five different places in nine days. Our goal destination: Meers Michigan for Ryan Stuckey's wedding. Silas was the ring bearer. However, since we were traveling with a 5 year old, a 3 year old and a nursing infant, we decided to break up the trip and spend time with some family and friends along the way. We had so much fun! Our first stop was in Wisconsin to visit the Mulders and the Amacks, friends of ours from Minnesota. Then, on to South Bend, Indiana where we stayed with Matt's parents and visited with Matt's grandparents. From there we headed to Detroit, Michigan to spend some time with my sister, brother-in-law and their TRIPLETS!! Six kids in one house five and under--good times!! Then we were off to the wedding in Meers Michigan where we met up with the Stuckey Family. It was a busy but enjoyable time. I hadn't seen my sister and her family in almost two years, and for the first time since we have been adults we got to have some one on one "girl" time together. It was so good to see family again and to spend time with friends we have missed. So, the next BUNCH of pictures posted will be from our vacation this summer. I am still trying to get caught up!:)

Mean Mom or Cute Kid?

I almost didn't post this b/c I was trying to video all of Ezekiel's loud screeching noises and it ended up that I said more than he did. Oh well, you can hear a little bit of his "noise." Some days he goes on like this for minutes at a time. We love listening to him!

Training Wheels

The overly-specific commentating is for my parents and siblings who care about the specific details of our lives. . .being miles away it's nice to "fill them in" on the every day stuff they miss out on. Listening to this I thought most you of probably don't care to hear the background information, but family might:)

Four months just flew by . . .

Ezekiel just turned 4 months at the beginning of this month. We went in this morning for his four month check-up and here are his stats:

Height: 25 1/2 inches--50-75%

Weight: 13 lbs. 10 oz.--10-25%

Head Size: 40.7 cen.--10-25%

We go back tomorrow morning for his history and physical exam for his surgery next week. . . at least with that appointment he won't get THREE shots:(
