Growing up TOO fast

First Attempts

We attempted to start Ezekiel on cereal at 6 months--he was NOT interested. We have tried again off and on hoping eventually he would take to baby food. Here we are almost two months later and the boy doesn't want anything to do with this mush. He is constantly trying to grab our food and drink out our hands but gags when we try to put anything into his mouth. He is almost 8 months old and still does not care to do anything but nurse. Oh well, he might just move straight to table food--now if I could just remember what foods they are allowed to have at this age.

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting. . .

Due to our crazy schedules these days, we had to do an afternoon apple orchard trip, we usually go first thing in the morning. . the weather was gorgeous, and we were glad b/c there was quite the line for the hayride out to the orchard.

Ezekiel Simeon-6 months

Too Cute

Yes, I'm still behind on posting pictures. .but here he is at 6 months-happy as can be!

Comparison

Almost everyone we know tells us how much Ezekiel and Silas look alike. We often hear he is "a little Silas" or to Ezekiel, "you are your brother!" Matt and I think he is a good mix of both Sara and Silas. The pictures below are of all the kids at 7 months-who do you think Ezekiel looks like?

Our little pilot trying out his Bumbo seat

One of the audiologist recommended these "pilot caps" to help keep Ezekiel's hands off of his hearing aids, and his hearing aids out of his mouth. They have worked great! The yellow one was given to us and since then we have gone to Hanna Anderson to get some other colors so at least we can try to coordinate them with his outfits.
