Ezekiel's 1st Haircut

His looks are changing. . .

Feeble attempts to get one good picture of his haircut!

October Snow

Winter came early for a sneak peek this year. I thought for sure we were doomed for having any kind of fall. The leaves were still on the trees when this snow hit! However, November is almost over and we have had the perfect fall days this month. I am very thankful to have my fall back, because I know winter is right around the corner!

Cochlear Implant Picnic

We had the opportunity to see alot of other people, adults and children, who have cochlear implants, and were able to meet a few as well. I had the chance to meet another mom whose child also has CMV. It was a very sobering conversation as I was reminded, again, how well Ezekiel is doing with this disease. God has been gracious to us!
Ezekiel's Audiologist, Melissa. She is WONDERFUL!!

Out and About

I think the greatest perk of living in our apartment complex is having a bike trail right behind our building. The kids love to ride their bikes while I push Zeke in the stroller. There is an elementary school on the way, so we have access to the playground as well, which is nice. So, here is what a typical walk is like for us and our view along the way. . .

Canadian geese--they are everywhere!

The paths we ride on are beautiful!
A lot of road construction along the way, so for a while our path was detoured.

A man-made pond we pass entering one of the neighborhoods

He absolutely loves being outside!

Stopping for a drink

Soccer and Baseball fields

The playground where Sara broke her arm

Yes, she's still climbing--arm brace and all!
