Just Because. ..

I LOVE flowers--Gerbera Daisies and Tulips are my favorite. The last two springs that my mom has visited we have planted flowers. Last year was sunflowers and they did not survive our move to the new apartment. This year we planted marigolds and they were doing well, until we left for a week on the senior trip--now, well, most of them are dead and the three that are left have not yet bloomed--I think it is a lost cause. Anyway, my mom has a green thumb-her yard is full of flowers, however, she apparently did not pass the gift onto me. My thumb is black and I manage to kill everything I try to grow. While my mom was here to visit we stopped at Trader Joe's. They had beautiful tulips for a great price, so my mom, knowing my love for tulips, bought me some. . .JUST BECAUSE. Thanks mom!
