Just when we thought it was safe. . .well, not really, I knew we really couldn't avoid the inevitable. Christmas night, after we put the kids to bed, Silas got hit with the stomach flu, and boy, did he ever get it!! Late night trips upstairs to do laundry and lots of rinsing out trashcans. . .it was a LONG night.
You will never again see Silas this calm. . . unless he gets the stomach flu again. It was honestly a nice break from his normal routine!

oh that is sad. i remember those nights of paul throwing up all over his bed, and giving him baths in the middle of the night, giving him 7 up and babying him. boy do i ever miss that... and i mean it. children are so precious... treasure them, even in the sick times.
